The Hope Cup

Since 2016 Southern Vales Archery Club has proudly held a charity day every September in support of a worthwhile cause. Each year our members choose a charity to focus on while raising awareness. Every cent raised during the day goes to the nominated charity.

COME and TRY

At 10am we start the day off with a C&T so we can share the fun of archery with members of the public

$10 per person gets you 2 hours of archery

Depending on the number of people, you may need to patiently line up for a 2nd turn, and a 3rd turn, etc

Every cent raised through the Come and Try goes directly to the charity

TOURNAMENT

At 1.30pm we kick off our 90 arrow tournament, welcoming archers from our clubs to come and compete

$15 Line Fee for each competitor in the Hope Cup tournament

Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placegetters are awarded at the end of the tournament.

Every cent raised through the Line Fees for the tournament goes directly to the charity

RAFFLE and AUCTION

In the lead up to the day, we seek items from members and local businesses.

All items are welcome, but any archery item must be in a clean and functional capacity

Rare items of value that are donated are auctioned off to the highest bidder

The raffle and auction are held during the trivia night

Every cent raised from the raffle tickets and auction sales go directly to the charity

TRIVIA NIGHT

We round the day off with a Trivia Night

$10 per person is charged for attending the trivia night

Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd are awarded with a special prize given for the troopers who come in last place

Every cent raised through the Trivia Night attendance goes directly to the charity

We are so very thankful for the support given by our Club Patron Amanda Rishworth
