Southern Vales Archery Club has begun a program suitable for children from the age of 4 up to 9 years old (taking into account the child's physical limitations).
​
Our Children's Program will be conducted at our grounds (Corner of States & Wheatsheaf Roads Morphett Vale) entry via Wheatsheaf Rd.
Utilising the new Arrows Archery kit your young child can now experience archery in a fun and safe way.
Targets are at ground level and arrows are fitted with soft rubber suction cups.

KIDDLY'S PROGRAM
The Kiddly's Program will follow on from what is learned at the Come and Try
Our training is an 8 week program, incorporating 5 weeks of initial training followed by a further 3 weeks (voucher provided) of monitored shooting.

Please bring a hat
The course covers all aspects of learning to use a bow, how to score, all our safety rules and how to be a polite archer.​
​
Initial training is held on Saturdays for 5 weeks.

Week 1 to 4 - 10am to 11am
-
Week 5 - 1.30pm onwards
Cost is $60.00 per child
Due to the current COVID requirements for hygiene and cleaning equipment used by multiple persons, our Training Courses have been postponed until further notice.
Thank you for your understanding
On successful completion of the initial training you will be awarded a Certificate of Completion that will enable you to apply for membership as an Afternooner

All applications for new membership to SVAC must be approved by the Committee, as per Section 5.2 of the SVAC Constitution
On successful completion of the initial Kiddly's training you will be provided with a Voucher for 3 free Saturday Shoots for monitored shooting using the Arrows Archery equipment

Voucher includes all equipment hire and line fees

Voucher must be used within the original 12 week period, expiry date applies.
Course places are limited to 8 and fill quickly so early bookings are essential.
Please download the Application for Temporary Membership and bring it with you (completed and signed) on the first day of the course.
This application covers you for the 12 weeks of the training course only.
