Training classes are held regularly at our grounds
on Saturday mornings 10am to 12noon.
Bookings are essential.
During the training our Qualified Trainers, Neil and Natt, will teach
you all about safety as well as maintenance of equipment.
You will learn to shoot a recurve bow.
During the training class other types of bow (longbows, compound
bows and crossbows) will be introduced.
Cost: Juniors (under 18) $40.00 Seniors $60.00
When signing up for training, insurance coverage is provided for a 12 week period.
Week 1 - commencement of training (insurance and equipment hire is included)
Week 2 - training (insurance and equipment hire is included)
Week 3 - training (insurance and equipment hire is included)
Week 4 - completion of training (insurance and equipment hire is included)
After the successful completion of training, you will receive a completion Certificate
and a voucher for 3 free Saturday Shoots. Voucher is offered for use only within the
original 12 week period - Expiry date applies.
Week 5 - 1st free Saturday Shoot - sign in before 1pm for a 1.30pm start (insurance and equipment hire is included)
Week 6 - 2nd free Saturday Shoot - sign in before 1pm for a 1.30pm start (insurance and equipment hire is included)
Week 7 - 3rd free Saturday Shoot - sign in before 1pm for a 1.30pm start (insurance and equipment hire is included)
Week 8 - Participation in Club Shoot is offered as insurance coverage still applies.

BECOMING A MEMBER
At this time you are invited to submit your Application for Membership to the club to become
a full financial member.
Membership fees apply.
Acknowledgement of and adherence to SVAC's Code of Conduct is a condition of Membership.
Failure to adhere to the Code of Conduct at all times whilst representing the club may result in
termination of your membership.
All Applications for Membership must be approved by the SVAC Committee.
All Applications for Membership received will be tabled at the next Committee Meeting for approval.
The SVAC Committee Meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month.
Applicants will be advised within 28 days of the Committee's decision.
The SVAC Committee reserves the right to reject any Application on the grounds of safety and/or conduct.
If Application is rejected, Membership Fees paid will be refunded in full.
